03.26.08 Conrad Square Clean-up & Planting.
On Saturday, March 26, 2008 sixteen APN neighbors and merchants joined together in cleaning, planting and
landscaping portions of Joseph Conrad Square. Thanks to the Coffee Express, Joanie's Happy Day Diner,
Pergamino's, and other adjacent cafés that supplied volunteers with sandwiches and drinks; the Park and
Recreation Dept. that donated extra time, plants, wood chips and stones; and to the Fiddler's Green which gave
away Irish Coffee to those who braved the cold, windy day for the full five hours.
03.26.08 APN holds General Meeting. It widely exceeded attendance expectations. Standing room only.
Among the attendees were SF Supervisors and candidates for Supervisor.
