F-Line Streetcar Service to Fort Mason Center
March 18, 2011: The National Park Service (NPS) announced the release of the Draft Environmental Impact
Statement (Draft EIS) for the Extension of F-Line Streetcar Service to Fort Mason Center. The project would
lengthen the historic streetcar F-line from Fisherman's Wharf to the San Francisco Maritime National Historical
Park (SF Maritime NHP) and on to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), ending at the Fort Mason
Center.
November 11, 2011: The city wants to extend the F-Line to Hyde St. in time for the America's Cup in 2013.
