Conrad Park
October 2011: The Fisherman’s Wharf Community Benefit District’s,
(FWCBD), Conrad Park Committee continues to work on short term and long
term ideas for the park. Several improvements were made to the park in
2010 & 11. They include:

 | Lights were strung in all of the trees within the park to make it safer | |

| Signs that list park regulations have been manufactured and posted | |
| at each of the entrances |
| Trees and bushes have been pruned to provide less cover for illegal activity | |
| Neighbors have added a cigarette dispenser and a dog waste bag dispenser. | |

To provide some new ideas and direction for the park, the Conrad Park Committee began working with the
creating plans for a redesigned and improved park for the committee to consider. The primary goals of the
designs will be to help make the park safer and to help increase activation and traffic since an empty park
becomes the target of vandals and those who do not follow park rules.
