Status: The neighbors have participated in 2 clean-ups so far in 2007.
Older plants were taken out in the original effort and replaced with new,
flowering varieties. The latest clean-up, on August 18, saw the neighbors
take out dead grass and replace the areas with wood chippings.
Supervisor Peskin was contacted in order to get his support for a Capital
Improvements Project which would replace the plastic piping for the
automatic watering system. At this time, the City Gardener hand waters the
