Neighborhood Watch
The most effective way to reduce neighborhood crime is for neighbors to get acquainted, and to work together
toward the goal of making their neighborhood safer. SAFE can assist in the organizing of neighborhood watch
groups and will provide free crime prevention information and materials. If your block or street desires, we can
invite a police officer and/or representatives from other city departments to address your particular concerns. Get
a few of your neighbors together, contact SAFE at (415) 553-1984, and a Crime Prevention Specialist will meet
with you to discuss your concerns and help you get a Neighborhood Watch group started.
